Mark V. Morris April 15, 1958 - December 5, 2023

Mark V Morris

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend, Mark Vernon Morris. Mark passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.

Mark was born on April 15, 1958, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, to Alfred and Betty Booth Morris. He graduated from Dublin High School in Dublin, California, and attended Chabot-Los Positas Community College in California, earning an associate degree.

From California, Mark moved back to his family and roots in Arkansas, joining Brooks Jeffrey Marketing, Inc., as a founding member of the website development team.

His keen interest in technology led to a 27-year career that began by learning the complexities of an emerging new digital frontier called website development. A life-long learner, Mark's ability to grasp new skills and concepts created the foundation for the extensive web services offered by Brooks Jeffrey, today.

Over the course of his career, Mark played a key role in assisting clients, providing technical support, and coordinating essential web development tasks for the agency.

While his technical achievements are extraordinary, his true legacy is the goodness and positivity he brought to others. Mark was a spiritual person who displayed respect and compassion in every interaction. His kind demeanor and unique ability to patiently field questions and resolve issues endeared him to all who knew him.

Mark will be greatly missed by our entire team and the thousands of clients he assisted over the years.

Away from work, Mark enjoyed cars, sports, and technology. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Mountain Home.

Mark is survived by his parents, Alfred and Betty Morris of Mountain Home, AR; cousins, Shannon Brooks, Allen Booth, and Carolanne Sacry; and special friend, Kelly Morgan of Florida. He is preceded in death by his sister, Leigh Ann.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., at Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 1:30 pm at Oaklawn Cemetery, Jonesboro, Arkansas, with Minister Sharon Madsen officiating.

Donations may be made in Mark's memory to the Mountain Home Food Basket, a charitable organization that combats hunger in the Ozarks.

Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Visit an online obituary and guestbook at www.KirbyandFamily.com
