Mountain Home Firm Presents "Web Marketing 101"

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – Renea Adams and Jodie Elizabeth Jeffrey, representing Brooks-Jeffrey Marketing of Mountain Home, presented a workshop entitled Web Marketing 101 at the Arkansas Fair Managers Association Convention at Hot Springs Jan. 11. More than 125 representatives of county fair associations throughout Arkansas attended the workshop sessions.

Arkansas Fair Managers Association President Glenn Priebe invited BJM to make the presentation after it created a Web site and converted paper forms for the Baxter County Fair into online forms and features last fall. For the first time, all county fair forms were online, including registration, exhibitor rules, schedule of events, and maps of the fairgrounds, the town, and commercial building booth layout.

“We were glad to show fair managers throughout Arkansas how the Internet can save them money and time while making their fairs’ information more accessible to the public,” said Ms. Jeffrey, a BJM co-owner and senior account executive. She said BJM frequently works with statewide organizations to produce online communications, such as newsletters and Web sites.

Mrs. Adams added that online forms allow the public to quickly find answers to their questions about the fairs without assistance from fair association employees.
