As a designer, I was apprehensive about using an ad design firm for art design on my advertising materials...then I realized I needed to do what I do best, which is designing inspiring interiors and let BJM do what they do best, which is marketing and ad design. That was a few years ago ... since then BJM has produced ads, brochures, direct mail, a website, a new logo, a trade show booth and many other materials for me.
I made a great decision when I hired BJM. They keep me on schedule and on budget. If I didn't have them pushing me, I would procrastinate and not make the progress I need to make in my marketing plan. BJM has created an identity for my business that matches my vision. In addition to design work, they put together a comprehensive plan and budget and we stick to it.
The advertising and marketing from BJM has paid off...my client base has grown. They (BJM) do what they do best which is to generate interest and calls to my business...once I get the calls from interested customers, it's up to me to demonstrate that I have what they're looking for in terms of design talent and vision. Last year, we (Interiors and Fabrications Design Studio) advertised in BJM’s hotel card key book. We invested in the ¼ page ad. We didn’t offer a discount or coupon, just information about our services. While the card key book is geared toward people staying in hotels during a visit to our area, we know that many visitors become residents. Our goal was to reach people who would be investing in a home or business here in the future.
In April of 2007, we received a call from a woman who had stayed in a local hotel and received one of the books. She told me that she had saved the book and was calling our business because of the ad in that card key book. I am pleased to say that she selected our firm as her interior design firm for her new home on the White River. The ad worked and we WILL be participating in the project again this year.

Moranz Lawn & Garden advertised in BJM’s 2006 Holiday project. While we think of lawn and garden supplies as a “seasonal business” the response to the Moranz offer was much more than they expected. In fact, they regretted offering such a significant coupon in the project: $25 off pickup, delivery or service work.
After learning how effective this marketing project can be, the Moranz’s are advertising in the 2007 book BUT they’re changing their offer: $25 off maintenance work exceeding $100 total. The Moranz’s track their advertising response and they credit the BJM Christmas promotion with an increase in their business (up to 3%) in November, December, January and February.
Many Christmas advertisers elect not to offer a special discount during this prime buying season (Christmas) and instead focus on the main benefits of shopping at their store and/or announcements of new product lines or service plans.

Dear Brooks-Jeffrey,
I’m taking the time to write your company because of an experience I had in January 2007, with your Art/Photo Department.
In 1998, my mother passed away. While sorting through her things, I found six pictures of my mother. One when she was a child of 12 with her mother, my grandmother, whom had passed away many years before I was born.
In speaking with other family members, I found that these were the only pictures that existed of my mother as a young woman, and also that the one of my mother and grandmother was the only known picture of my grandmother except for my grandmother’s wedding picture.
My brothers, of course, wanted copies of these pictures. However, knowing that these were the only pictures and in need of restoration, I was afraid to trust anyone with them.
Anyone that has lost a loved one, knows that a picture of that person becomes so precious to those left behind. Sometimes you fear that with time you will forget how that loved one looked. But if you have pictures, their image never fades away.
Knowing this was the way I felt about my six pictures, I was not willing to let the pictures be reproduced; no matter how much my brothers asked for copies.
In late December 2006, I had the pleasure of showing these pictures to your Art/Photo Department. It was then, while speaking to Linda Clark, for the first time, I felt comfortable with handing over my precious treasures to be restored and copied.
Two weeks later, I had my original pictures back. With beautiful copies that were not only reproduced, but were enlarged and enhanced to the point that I felt like I was standing face-to-face with my mother and grandmother.
Needless to say, my brothers are thrilled with their pictures.
Your Art/Photo Department should be recognized for their talent and ability in restoring and enhancing old pictures. Not to mention that Linda made me feel my pictures were as important to her as they were to me.
My hat is off to you, the owners of BJM, for employing such capable and qualified people and offering this type of service.
The services your company provided to me and my brothers are priceless and has made it possible for present and future generations to put a face to the names of their ancestors; to actually see where the shape of their face comes from, or the color of their hair.

Just a few days after the Ozark Hospitality packets were given out in the area, I had my first call from a lady who read my ad in the packet. Her family needed moving services. Wow! I was really pleased.
Brooks-Jeffrey Marketing called this “targeted advertising” and recommended that it would work for us. The Ozark Hospitality packets are given out when there is a property closing in Baxter and Marion Counties by selected businesses like banks, brokers and real estate companies.

My computer crashed, I ran the diagnostics with Dell support and they told me I needed a new video card. Yeah...like that means something to me.
I talked to your service group rep - she was delightful as well as informed. She knew exactly what I needed and had it in stock. I called at 3:50; the tech was ringing my doorbell by 4:15. Unbelievable service!

I use my computer to communicate with my children and grandchildren - the ones that live in town and out of town. For Christmas, my daughter wanted to buy me a new computer. We bought it from Brooks-Jeffrey because they could quickly transfer all the data and set up my Internet connection, printer and camera software. The service was very reasonable and worth every penny. I was up and working on my new computer in no time.
